Vienna – With the growing influence of comprehensive global digitalisation on all areas of society, sovereignty over one’s own data – data sovereignty – is becoming a fundamental necessity to ensure sustainable economic growth and social justice in Europe. The European initiative Gaia-X has set itself the goal of developing the necessary organisational, legal and technical framework conditions for this.

Gaia-X Hub Austria is now taking the next step to support the Austrian economy in the development and implementation of data-based business models, as well as to shape a social and political discourse.
