Steering Board
The Steering Board provides strategic direction and oversight of the Hub’s operational activities. It consists of a small group of selected experts from public administration, industry and digital ecosystems.
It serves as the central governance body responsible for:
- prioritising strategic areas,
- evaluating and guiding operational activities,
- ensuring the quality of expert content,
- ensuring the strategic relevance of the Hub’s activities.
The Steering Board guides the development of strategic visions, positions and recommendations for action, and supports the Hub in assessing relevant technological, regulatory and market developments. It also ensures that the Hub’s activities remain aligned with national and European developments.

Career
Hahn started his professional career at Nixdorf Computer. From 1996 to 2001 he was on the board of Netway Communications AG. At the same time, he was President of the Internet Service Provider Association (ISPA) and on the Advisory Board of the Austrian Web Analysis (ÖWA).
In the period from 2002 to 2013, he was first Chief Operating Officer of Raiffeisen Informatik GmbH and later Managing Director of Raiffeisen Solution GmbH.
Since 2014, Hahn has been co-owner of Business Design OG and Secretary General of OSJBIG Austria since 2018.

Ivan Mayorov is Digital Sovereignty Teamlead at CANCOM Austria. He guides an interdisciplinary team of Senior Software Architects, Market Analysts and Developers, who implement innovative, 100% decentralized, and AI-ready data architecture solutions to promote European digital sovereignty, interoperability, and trusted data ecosystems.
CANCOM Austria team is involved in delivering various business use cases, including scalable, regulations compliant solutions for secure information exchange, as well as partner projects such as RecAL, the European aluminium recycling initiative, and EU Green IT initiatives like the Digital Product Passport. Before joining CANCOM, he led several projects at Smart Information Systems in Sunnyvale & San Francisco, USA, and implemented digital transformation initiatives at the Frankstahl Group. Ivan Mayorov successfully completed his studies at Aston University, Birmingham, UK, and FH Upper Austria, Wels, Austria.

Sommer started his professional career at Technologie-Impulse Gesellschaft (now part of FFG), was responsible for research and innovation policy at the Federation of Austrian Industries and then Director of Public Affairs at AVL.

Recently, he has been working on AI and related legal issues, the EU Data Act, and other topics of the EU Digital Agenda.

Annette Trawnicek holds a Master's degree in Economics from WU Vienna and a specialisation in Marketing from Universitá Commerciale Bocconi, Milan. With HP/HPE since 2004, she has held various positions in CEE and Austria in the areas of sales management, business development, consulting and business management.
