Data is becoming a shared economic resource. Yet many organisations, especially small and medium‑sized enterprises, still face one key question: how can data be shared, protected and turned into real business value at the same time?
Build trusted data value – together
At the heart of data spaces lies a clear promise: data sovereignty, trust and interoperability. Companies remain in control of their data while gaining access to new markets, partners and value chains. For SMEs in particular, this opens doors that were previously reserved for large organisations with extensive digital infrastructures.
Leveraging data spaces means:
- creating new, scalable business models based on shared data
- collaborating across organisational and sector boundaries without losing control
- reducing technical and legal complexity through common standards
- building trust through transparent rules and sovereign data usage
Take a first step into data spaces!
As a German knowledge transfer project born from the Gaia-X lighthouse project EuProGigant, LeOniDaS focuses on simple and practical onboarding processes into data spaces and on consulting on how business models can grow through collaboration rather than isolation.
How to learn about this?
Building a resilient, data-driven and sustainable manufacturing ecosystem to strengthen Europe’s industrial leadership: this March, the Technical University of Darmstadt – one of Europe’s leading engineering universities – becomes a focal point for pioneering manufacturing initiatives.
Hosted in the research environment of the university the EuProGigant Open House Day – featured by LeOniDaS – brings together project partners, funding authorities, policy makers and industry leaders from the manufacturing domain.
